Safety & Rules

Safety plays an important role in beer bike design, together with ergonomics.

Damtours is all about fun, but we take your safety very seriously. That is why our professional drivers are both careful and down-to-earth. They follow fixed routes that are strictly checked for safety.

We keep the personal weight per chair at 150 kg per person. Those outside this group can still sit on the bench. Before departure there is an explanation from our manual about how things work and what we should take into account with other traffic. It's a normal information briefing. Nothing more, nothing less. Our bike has a good entry, thick window, non-slip floor and a table to hold on to during the bear bike / sightseeing route.

It is important that everyone remains seated while driving. Boarding and disembarking can only take place during stops at designated locations where traffic allows, because it is so busy with cyclists and all the cars and other traffic. Follow all health and safety issues. Safety always comes first.

Damtours is all about fun, but we take your safety very seriously. That is why our professional drivers are both careful and down-to-earth. They follow fixed routes that are strictly checked for safety. Damtours bicycles, which are less than 1.5 meters wide, are also fully compliant with the municipality's safety regulations. Some of our activities involve alcohol and, although the vast majority of participants are very well behaved, we have an obligation to our city and its residents not to offend or endanger people or property.

We therefore ask you to respect the following rules:

• Please do not dismount while the bicycle is in motion.
• Do not hand out drinks to people who are not in your party.
• Drunken, violent, rude or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
• Respect must be shown to the local community at all times.
• Damaging property or assets is liable for prosecution.
• Only designated toilets can be used, no exceptions.

Please note that failure to adhere to these rules may result in your group being expelled (without refund), criminally charged, and/or fined for damages. This will have a huge impact on your party, so don't put yourself in this situation.
